To submit the e-passport application, the applicant must make an appointment through the Department of Security Services, the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the outsourcing company Expat Services (Kuala Lumpur) Sdn. Bhd. (ESKL). Appointments can be made in both of the following methods.

Fill out the application form

• The application form should be filled online at the designated place of ESKL (Expat Services (Kuala Lumpur) Sdn. Bhd.

2. Document verification

• There is no need to attest any documents for e-passport application.

3. Image Addition

• There is no need to attach and attest images to the form.
• For children under 6 years of age: 3R/4R lab print, gray background image.

4. National Identity Card / Birth Certificate

• The application form has to be filled according to the National Identity Card (NID) or Online Birth Registration Certificate (BRC English Version).
• Online verified copy of National Identity Card (NID) / Birth Registration Certificate (BRC) has to be submitted.

5. Minor (below 18 years) applicant

• Those who do not have a National Identity Card (NID), the National Identity Card (NID) number of his parents must be mentioned.
• Copy of Parent's National Identity Card (NID) and online verified copy must be submitted.

8. Adoption/Guardianship

• In the case of adoption/guardianship, the passport application should be accompanied by an order issued by the Security Services Department, Ministry of Interior.

9. Age Limit and Tenure

• The validity of the e-passport will be 05 years and 48 pages for all applications below 18 years and above 65 years.

10. Technical Certificate

• Relevant technical certificates (e.g. doctors, engineers, drivers, etc.) should be uploaded/added.

11. Government Orders/Non-Objections/Post-Retirement Documents

• If applicable, the relevant GO/NOC/Certificate/Post-Retirement Leave Order (PRL Order)/Pension Book should be uploaded/added which should be uploaded on the respective websites of the issuing authority.

12. Marriage/Divorce Certificate

• If applicable, marriage certificate/nikahnama and divorce certificate should be submitted.
• If applicable, the Marriage Certificate / Divorce Certificate (English version) should be attested by the Ministry of Law, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the concerned Bangladesh Embassy.

13. Permanent Address Certification

• In favor of the permanent address, the certificate of the Commissioner / Chairman of the area will have to be submitted.

• In case of change of permanent address, the certificate of the Commissioner / Chairman of your area will have to be submitted.

14. Diplomatic Passport

• For a diplomatic passport, the application form should be submitted to the Consular and Welfare Wing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the head office of the Department of Immigration and Passport.

15. Application from Foreign Missions

• If you apply for a new passport from the foreign mission, you will have to mention the contact address of Bangladesh in the permanent address column.

16. Display of original documents

• At the time of application, the original National Identity Card (NID), Online Birth Registration Certificate (BRC English Version) and if applicable, technical certificate, Government Order (GO) / No Objection (NOC) should be displayed/submitted.

17. Reissue

• In case of passport re-issue at foreign missions, the original passport and visa will have to be shown.

18. Lost passport

• If the passport is lost or stolen, the police should immediately report to the nearest police station.
• At the time of applying for a passport again, the application form will have to be submitted with a photocopy of the old passport and a copy of the police report.

• In case of application below 06 years of age, 3R (4R Size) (Lab Print Gray Background) photograph should be submitted.

Documents Required for Passport Correction Application

1. Correction of personal information

• Verified copy of the applicant's own ID and ID card (in case of correction of his name, age, mother and father's name)
• Verified copy of the applicant's mother's ID and ID card (in case of correction of mother's name)
• Verified copy of applicant's father's ID and ID card (in case of correction of father's name)

2. Correction of Marriage/Spouse Information

• Spouse's ID card and verified copy (in case of name addition or correction)
• English Marriage Certificate / Divorce Certificate (attested by the Ministry of Law, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and High Commission)

3. Correction/Change of Permanent Address

• Newly issued citizenship certificate by the local Mayor/Councillor/Chairman
• If necessary, issue passports with police reports

4. Other Required Documents

• Evidence/Affidavit (with Rs.300 stamp)
• Copy of current passport
• Copy of applicable visa
• Declaration
• All documents should be submitted as clear and clear scanned copies
